Professional Development Programmes for English Teachers 2018 - 2019

In order to learn how to use Multimodal Texts in the English Language at Junior Secondary Level, TWO English teachers from the English Department of NWCSS participated in the seminar hoisted by the English Committee of the Secondary Section of HKCDSC on 11th January 2019. The guest speakers were from the NET Section of EDB. Special thanks for the support from Mr W Wai and Mr P Bason in attending the seminar.

In order to learn how to prepare well for effective English Reading around the school campus, SIX English teachers from the English Department of NWCSS participated in the workshop being held by Hong Kong Ed City called Workshop on Teaching Reading using Reciprocal Strategies. The guest speaker was Ms Pat Edgar, the Education Consultant from Australia. Special thanks for the support from Mr W Wai, Ms WY Wong, Ms A Chow, Ms K Wong, Ms A Leung and Mr P Bason in attending the workshop.
