In the summer of 2019 (27th July to 12th August), SIX Ng Wah boy from S4A joined the New Zealand Study Tour organized by the HK Catholic Diocese Secondary Schools Committee. The tour offered students the chance to live with overseas host families so as to immerse themselves in an English learning environment as well as and improving their language skills during lessons. They are also expected to learn from a new culture through excursions. The programme included language training in local schools, cultural expeditions and learning experience with local students in St Patrick’s College (Wellington). The participants also had the opportunity to visit different scenic spots such as the Gondola ride to top of Skyline and Ride luge in Rotorua, Wellington Zoo and Kiwi House, the Bush Walk, a Seal Trip in South Coast, a visit to Mt Victoria and Te Papa Museum.
