S1 English Fun Day
To develop the English environment around the campus, the English Department invited a service provider to hold the S1 English Fun Day on the morning of 7th September for all S1 newcomers. There were 5 different themes and games, namely “Be a Master Chef”, “Be an Artist”, “Be a Language Expert” “Be a Scientist” and “Be a Sportsman” during the Fun Day. The games aimed to promote teamwork and problem solving skills for our S1 students through using English. All games and activities focused on building students’ vocabulary, and supplying them with common natural expressions. This was a wonderful opportunity for all the S1 participants to develop their authentic English and improve their English proficiency.
